This is an in-depth course which is equivalent to studying A-levels. There are four core units which include Investigating Travel and Tourism, the Business of Travel and Tourism, the UK as a Destination, and Customer Service in Travel and Tourism. There are also additional units that include Roles and Responsibilities of Holiday Reps, Entertainment for Holidaymakers, Long haul Travel Destinations as well as gaining work experience. Learners participate in a range of enrichment activities including airline cabin crew training with JARE training, visits to tourist attractions, and experiences of the travel and tourism industry.
