    The CNC course is designed to meet the needs of local companies and individuals, and provides an introduction to CNC principles and machine structures, planning for manufacture, manual part programming and CAD/CAM software operation.

    Using existing solid models, you will develop M and G code programs, prove their validity via simulation and manufacture components. The course will involve a mixture of practical and theory

    What will I study on the course?

    Further work on CNC principles and machine structures including:

    • Planning for manufacture, part programming
    • CADCAM software operation
    • Further development on M and G code programs

    You will attend college for 2 hours on 1 evening per week over 12 weeks. Students will study towards a level 3 qualification, progressing to level 4 where appropriate.
