On the evening, you will be given survival kits at the staff briefing with some treats and information for the night, so please make your Head of School aware that you will be attending to receive one and attending the briefing session on the night. As always, we really appreciate you being at the Open Evenings to represent the College and for helping to make this evening a fantastic experience for all involved. We hope you enjoy meeting your potential new students.

Dates for November Open Evenings 2018

Gloucester: Monday 05 November, 5.30 - 8.00pm
Forest of Dean: Wednesday 7 November, 5.30 - 7.30pm
Cheltenham: Monday 12 November, 5.30 - 8.00pm

Pre-Registered Visitors

We encourage all visitors to pre-register ahead of the event. On the evening, some course areas are more popular than others, however we do get a number of visitors arriving on the night who haven't pre-registered, so these numbers can change throughout the evening. Please do not take a quiet course area as opportunity to leave your areas, as you never know when someone will come by. We want all visitors to have a great experience and be inspired!

What's in the Survival Kits?

At the staff briefing you will be given your survival kit for the evening. In here you will find: a map of the Open Evening, a few sweets, a chocolate bar, and a disposable cup for you to use to get teas and coffees throughout the evening. These will be served from 5:30pm in: Gloucester - C001, Forest of Deam - Food Central, Cheltenham - G100a.

What's happening on the night?

5:00pm Whilst the event officially starts at 5:30pm, we often get guests showing up from 5pm so please be ready in your areas following the staff briefing from this time.

5.30/6.00/6.30pm Members of staff will also be leading a series of Welcome Talks about the College and its offer. Please encourage all visitors to attend this: Gloucester - Theatre, Forest of Dean - TBC, Cheltenham - Boardroom.

7.15pm We understand that it gets quieter towards the end of the evening, but please be prepared for late guests to make sure they have the same experience as early arrivers. The event officially finishes at 8.00pm (7.30pm at FoD).

Finally... at the end of the evening could you please put down any collateral that belongs to the Marketing Team - this includes pop-up banners and posters. Please could you return these to the Welcome Desk at the end of the evening.

Floor plans: To be released following half term

Application Hubs

This year we are having a main Application Hub at each campus where the Admissions Team will be on hand to support applying students.

We encourage all applicants to complete the online application with the Admissions Team in the Application Hub, so please point them in this direction.

If necessary, paper application forms are available in the back of the prospectuses given to all visitors in their welcome goody bags.
