I've always been interested in engineering and took the decision to study at Gloucestershire College to gain additional qualifications, alongside my job as a Service Engineer. My lecturers were superb; always willing to help and very supportive to those who want to learn. The equipment is perfect too. During my first year I was tasked to design an instrument for the lower level students to use for testing, and in the second year, we worked as a collective to design a 3D printer for a parts supply unit. My next steps will be to continue my studies and go on to study a BEng(Hons) in Electronic Engineering at UWE, with a view to becoming a Design Engineer in the future.
We are delighted to be able to celebrate the achievements of our 2018 graduates in the surroundings of Gloucester Cathedral.

The cathedral does not offer on-site parking, however visitors can be dropped off in the courtyard. There are several car parks in the centre of Gloucester, just a couple of minutes walk away. You can find out more information here.
There is a level approach to the main entrance and the main doors are accessible for wheelchair users. For more information on accessibility please visit the Gloucester Cathedral website here.
Thanks to the contacts of my lecturer, I gained work experience as a production assistant alongside my studies, which he allowed me the flexibility to do. The College has great facilities for the course; lots of professional film equipment and industry-standard cameras. I am now considering working freelance, using the contacts acquired through my college work experience, and I would like to move to London to progress my career in film.

Your will also be required to wear graduation robes, which can be ordered from Ede and Ravenscroft.
