Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice
The Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice is suitable for those starting their career in law. Students may well already be working for a law firm and seeking to progress in their role.
The qualification covers five units:
- Introduction to Law and Practice
- Law of Tort
- Legal Research Skills
- Client Care and
- Civil Litigation
Upon completion of the Level 3 Certificate, students can progress on to the Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice.
Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice
To achieve the Level 3 Diploma, students must complete 5 further units of study:
- Criminal Law
- Land Law
- Contract Law
- Family Law
- Conveyancing Practice
On successful completion of the Diploma, you will be able to progress on to the CILEx Level 6 qualification.
Online & on campus learning
Our Online & On Campus approach enables students to benefit from both face-to-face teaching at Gloucestershire College and online lessons available on demand, offering a truly flexible study experience. In addition to attending face-to-face classes, students will be expected to undertake a further 5 to 6 hours each week of guided self-study out of college.
If you are already working in a Law firm, you will be able to achieve this qualification as an apprentice, meaning that you can continue working in your current role whilst you study.
