Paul Norman Plastics Ltd have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hardworking individual as an apprentice plastic injection mould toolmaker. This vacancy would suit someone who has engineering experience and is looking to further their career with practical experience.

Being an apprentice in Paul Norman Plastics Ltd, will allow you to see the product right through from the tool making stage to final assembly, as part of your apprenticeship you will train and work with the following responsibilities:

  • CAD / CAM packages
  • Traditional Skills of Milling, Turning, Grinding, fitting
  • CNC Machine Tools
  • EDM Machinery
  • Wire Erosion
  • Plastic Injection Moulding


Desired skills

A genuine interest and enthusiasm to undertake an engineering apprenticeship. 

Personal qualities

Motivation, positive attitude, can do approach.

Qualifications required

GCSE’s or equivalent to include Maths, English and a Science subject grade C or above. Level 2 Engineering

Future prospects

Permanent position upon completion of apprenticeship.
