Lecturer in Maths

£21,046 - £31,165 per annum Location: Cheltenham, Gloucester, Forest of Dean Post Number: L154 Closing Date: Sunday 02 June, 2013 (at 22:00) Full-time, 37 hours per week. Lecturer in Maths, delivering a combination of Functional Skills and GCSE Mathematics. Gloucestershire College is committed to developing the maths and English skills of our learners. The Centre for Skills for Life is looking to expand our dynamic team of maths lecturers who deliver GCSE and Functional Skills maths to learners across the college. You will be working within a supportive team and will have an exciting range of teaching opportunities and a chance to make a real difference to the maths skills of learners. The ideal candidates will have a passion for helping learners to improve their maths skills. We recruit teaching staff that have the ability and enthusiasm to motivate, engage and inspire students. Lecturer in English and/or Maths - Variable Hours to be agreed

Lecturer/Trainee Lecturer in Computing

£21,046.12- £31,165.12 per annum Location: Cheltenham, Gloucester, Forest of Dean Post Number: L144 Closing Date: Sunday 26 May, 2013 (at 22:00) Full-time, 37 hours per week. Experienced Lecturers will contribute to the teaching of technical computing subjects within the Computing programme area and assist in the planning, operation, administration and review of new programmes of study. Trainee Lecturers will develop over a two year period, with robust support, and a reduced teaching timetable, to become a fully competent, qualified, Lecturer in Computing. The overall purpose of the role is to create effective and stimulating opportunities for learning through high quality teaching that enables the development and progression of all learners.
 

Temporary EFL Junior Summer School Lecturer

Competitive Location: Cheltenham, Gloucester, Forest of Dean Post Number: L127 Closing Date: Monday 01 July, 2013 (at 22:00) Approximately 500 students aged 12-17 will attend the College's summer school. The role of the Lecturer is to teach English as a foreign language to the students. Up to 40 full time/part time Lecturers will be employed to teach on a temporary basis between 24th June and 3rd August 2013. Interviews will be arranged upon receipt of applications and this role will be advertised until all positions have been filled. Typically Lecturers will be required to work at either the Cheltenham or Gloucester campus so please specify your location preference on your application form. .
